Note for the agency: this article is written as if it's being read directly by your client — the local business owner using the platform. Feel free to copy and paste it into your own knowledge base so your clients have a simple and clear guide to understand how each product works.
Your credit balance is what powers all the messaging features in your platform — including SMS, WhatsApp messages, and 2-way SMS phone number subscriptions.
Whenever you send a message or subscribe to a 2-way phone number, credits are deducted from your balance.
This guide will help you understand how credits are used, how much things cost, and what happens if your balance runs low.
What Are Credits Used For?
Your credits are used for:
Sending messages to your clients (via SMS or WhatsApp)
Paying monthly for your 2-way SMS phone number (if you use one)
Whenever you top up your credits, your balance increases, and you can continue sending messages and keeping your SMS channel active.
How Much Do Messages Cost?
Each message (SMS or WhatsApp) = $0.02
That means 1 message = 1 credit
You can send up to 100 messages with just 2 dollars!
💡 The system automatically tracks your balance and deducts 1 credit per message sent.
Currency Conversion
If you pay in a currency other than USD, no problem!
Your payment will be automatically converted to USD using the daily exchange rate.
Then, your credit balance will be updated based on the USD value.
Example: You pay €20 → it gets converted to $21 USD → you receive 1,050 credits.
What About 2-Way SMS Phone Numbers?
If you want your clients to reply to your messages, you need a 2-way SMS phone number. This is a dedicated number assigned to your business, and it’s charged monthly using your credit balance.
The monthly cost depends on the country where the number is registered.
Here are some examples:
Country | Monthly Cost (Credits) | Monthly Cost (USD) |
United States | 50 credits | $1.00 |
Switzerland | 100 credits | $2.00 |
Italy | 100 credits | $2.00 |
United Kingdom | 100 credits | $2.00 |
✅ The cost is automatically deducted every month from your credit balance if you have a 2-way number active.
What Happens if Your Balance Runs Low?
If your balance reaches 0: You won’t be able to send new messages until you top up again.
If your balance goes below -100 credits (due to your 2-way number monthly renewal): Your 2-way number will be automatically disabled. You’ll need to purchase a new number after topping up your credits to reactivate the 2-way SMS feature.
🔁 Tip: To avoid interruptions, keep an eye on your credit balance from your Dashboard > Billing section, and top up regularly.
