How to Connect Your Stripe Account

To receive payments from your clients and get paid out automatically, you need to connect your Stripe account to DropSaaS. This setup takes just a few minutes and only needs to be done once.

Whether you’re running a solo business or an agency, Stripe Connect is the gateway that allows DropSaaS to collect payments under your brand—and send earnings directly to your bank account.

Is Stripe Connect Available in Your Country?

Before starting, check if Stripe Connect is supported in your country. You can only use Stripe with DropSaaS if Stripe Connect is available in your location.

Stripe Connect is currently supported in:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong SAR China, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.

If your country is on this list, you're good to go.

Step-by-Step: How to Connect Stripe to DropSaaS

Step 1: Log in to Your DropSaaS Account

Go to app.dropsaas.com and log in using the email you used to purchase DropSaaS. If you haven’t set up your login yet, check out our guide on how to log in with a Magic Link.

Step 2: Click "Connect Stripe" in the Home Section

The very first time you log in, you'll see a popup banner in your Home dashboard that says:

Stripe Integration Required – Connect your Stripe account to start selling.

Click the “Connect Stripe” button. This will open a new tab and begin the Stripe onboarding process.

Step 3: Enter Your Email

Enter the email address you want to use with your Stripe account.

💡 You can use the same email you used for DropSaaS—or a different one, if you already have a Stripe account.

Click Next to proceed.

Step 4: Verify Your Phone Number

Stripe will ask you for a mobile phone number.

Enter your number and click Submit.

You’ll receive a 6-digit code via SMS. Enter this code to verify your phone number and continue the process.

Step 5: Select Your Business Type

Stripe supports different business types:

Individual / Sole Proprietor

Company (LLC, Corporation, etc.)

Nonprofit Organization

Choose the one that best matches your setup.

If you’re unsure, you can register as an individual to start collecting payments.

Click Continue after making your selection.

Step 6: Enter Your Business Details

This step is where Stripe collects the basic details for your account:

Your first and last name, or your company’s legal name

Your date of birth

Your address (personal or business)

Your business industry — you can select “Software”

Your website

If you don’t have a website yet, choose “I don’t have a website” and enter a short description like: “We sell software to help local businesses grow through reviews, marketing, and automation.”

Click Next when you're done.

Step 7: Add Your Bank Details

To receive payouts from DropSaaS, you need to link your bank account.

Enter:

Your bank account number

Your routing number or IBAN (depending on your country)

This is where DropSaaS will automatically deposit your earnings whenever you sell the software.

Step 8: Confirm and Submit

Stripe will show you a summary of all the information you’ve entered.

Review it carefully, then click Submit to finish your onboarding.

🎉 Congratulations! Your Stripe account is now linked to DropSaaS.

Step 9: Check for Stripe Verifications (If Needed)

In some cases, Stripe might ask for extra documentation. This is a normal part of their verification process.

Examples of additional requests:

Email confirmation

Uploading an ID (passport, national ID, driver’s license)

Business registration documents

Proof of address

Stripe will notify you via email—and if anything is missing, DropSaaS will also show a notification banner in your Home dashboard.

You won’t be able to start selling until Stripe has completed these checks.

Step 10: You're Ready to Start Selling!

Once your Stripe account is approved and connected:

You can begin selling DropSaaS under your brand

Clients can subscribe using your pricing page

DropSaaS will handle the billing

You’ll receive payouts to your bank account automatically

🔁 You can update or disconnect Stripe at any time from your Home dashboard.
