Social — How It Works

Note for the agency: this article is written as if it's being read directly by your client — the local business owner using the platform. Feel free to copy and paste it into your own knowledge base so your clients have a simple and clear guide to understand how each product works.

Social media is no longer just a trend — it’s a powerful tool to grow your local business, build trust, and attract new customers. That’s why the Social product inside your platform exists: to help you post content regularly on your business’s Facebook and Instagram pages, directly from one easy dashboard.

🌟 Why Social Media Matters for Your Local Business

When people discover your business on social media, they quickly look at two things:

Your latest posts — to see if your business is active and trustworthy

Your community and engagement — to see what kind of experience they can expect

If your page is outdated or empty, you may lose potential customers.

But if your page is filled with fresh, engaging content, people will see that your business is:

Active and professional

Constantly improving

Caring about its customers

✍️ What Kind of Posts Can You Share?

Here are some great ideas for content to publish regularly:

📣 Announce promotions, discounts, or limited-time offers

📸 Share behind-the-scenes photos of your team or business

🍽️ Show off your products or services in action (e.g. dishes, haircuts, rooms, etc.)

🎉 Highlight events, awards, or new launches

💬 Post testimonials or 5-star reviews from happy clients

📆 Create themed content for holidays, seasons, or local celebrations

These posts don’t need to be long or complex. What matters most is consistency.

📅 Why Posting Regularly Helps You Grow

Posting often helps you:

Stay top of mind with your followers

Show up more in Facebook and Instagram feeds

Convert more followers into customers

Stand out from local competitors with inactive pages

Remember: People are more likely to choose a business that looks alive, responsive, and engaged online.

🔧 What Do You Need to Use the Social Product?

To start using the Social product, you need to connect at least one social media page:

Facebook Page

Instagram Business Account

Once connected, you can:

Plan and schedule your posts in advance

Publish the same post on both platforms at once

Save time while staying consistent online

In the next article, we’ll guide you step by step on how to create and publish a social post using your dashboard.

Let’s keep your business active and visible — one post at a time!

How to Create and Publish Posts, Reels, and Stories with the Social Tool

Now that you’ve connected your Facebook and/or Instagram page, you're ready to start publishing content using the Social product. This tool makes it easy to create Posts, Reels, and Stories — all from one place, in just a few clicks.

Let’s see how it works 👇

Step 1 — Click “New Content”

To get started:

Go to the Social product.

Click the “New Content” button.

You’ll be asked to choose what type of content you want to create:

Post (standard photo or video post)

Reel (short vertical video content)

Story (24-hour vertical content)

Let’s break these down 👇

What’s a Post?

A Post is the most common type of social content. It appears directly on your Facebook and Instagram feeds and stays there permanently.

📌 Ideal for:

Announcing news or events

Sharing photos of your products, team, or location

Posting testimonials or client reviews

What’s a Reel?

A Reel is a short, vertical video designed to grab attention. Reels get more visibility on Instagram and Facebook because social platforms love promoting short videos.

📌 Ideal for:

Showing your workspace or team in action

Sharing quick how-tos (e.g., “How we prepare this dish!”)

Highlighting new arrivals or services

Tip: Record Reels vertically with your phone!

What’s a Story?

A Story is temporary content that appears for 24 hours. Stories are great for creating urgency or showing behind-the-scenes moments.

📌 Ideal for:

Sharing daily updates

Promoting flash offers

Giving a “peek” into your business life

Step 2 — Select Platforms

Choose where you want your content to be published:

Facebook

Instagram

Or both

This way, you can manage both pages at once without extra effort.

Step 3 — Add Media

You’ll now upload a photo or video depending on the type of content.

For Posts: You can upload either images or videos.

For Reels: A video file is required (ideally vertical).

For Stories: You can upload photos or short videos, but again, vertical format works best.

Step 4 — Add a Description (for Posts and Reels)

Write something engaging and relevant:

What are you promoting?

What should your customer do next?

Do you want them to comment, like, or visit?

Examples of Post Descriptions:

"Come try our new seafood pasta 🐟🍝 Available this weekend only!"

"Did you know we now offer teeth whitening? Book your spot today!"

"Our hotel rooms got a makeover — here’s a sneak peek! 🛏️✨"

Examples of Reels:

A video of your chef preparing a dish with the caption: “Made fresh every day. Come taste the difference!”

A video tour of your salon with the caption: “Our cozy corner of relaxation is waiting for you.”

Stories do not need a caption, so once you upload the media, you can go straight to preview.

Step 5 — Preview and Publish

After uploading media and writing the description, you’ll see a preview of how your post, reel, or story will look.

If everything looks good, click Publish and your content will go live! ⏳

You’ll find all your past content (posts, reels, stories) inside the Social product to track what you’ve shared so far.

Coming Soon: Schedule Your Content in Advance

Very soon, you'll be able to schedule your posts, reels, and stories in advance. This will help you plan your content calendar and stay consistent without needing to log in every day.

Why You Should Use All 3 Content Types

✅ Posts:

Keep your page updated and show your audience what you offer. Posts are often the first thing people see when they check your social profile.

🔥 Reels:

Reach new audiences and get discovered by people who don’t follow you yet. Reels are pushed heavily by Facebook and Instagram algorithms.

⏰ Stories:

Build connection and urgency. Stories show you’re active and engaged — and they’re perfect for flash promos or casual updates.

How the Social Product Can Grow Your Business

Regular content = more visibility = more customers.

When you post often:

You stay top-of-mind for existing customers

You attract new followers who can become clients

You increase trust and credibility with anyone researching your business online

Posting content consistently is free marketing — and with the Social product, it’s faster and easier than ever.
