How to Connect Your Domain to DropSaaS

Your domain is the address where clients will access your white-labeled platform. For example: dashboard.myagency.com

Customizing this is a key part of your white-label setup. It makes your platform look professional, builds trust with users, and keeps everything under your own brand.

Let’s walk through the full process of setting up your domain, step-by-step.

Step 1: Choose Your Domain and Subdomain

When setting up DropSaaS, you’ll be asked to enter:

Your domain name — the main part of your website, like myagency.com

A subdomain — the prefix that will host your platform, like app, portal, or dashboard

Your platform URL will look like this:

arduinoCopyEdithttps://dashboard.myagency.com

✳️ Subdomain Tips:

It must be at least 3 characters

Choose something easy to remember, like:

app

dashboard

portal

clients

Make sure the subdomain is not already used for email, blogs, or other services on your domain

⚠️ Don’t use a subdomain that’s already assigned DNS records in your hosting provider. You need a clean one.

Don’t Have a Domain Yet?

No problem! You can buy one from any domain registrar.

Here are some popular options:

GoDaddy

Namecheap

Google Domains

Cloudflare

Hostinger

Bluehost

SiteGround

Aruba

OVH

Domains typically cost $10–15 per year, and you only need the domain (no web hosting needed).

Step 2: Connect Your Domain

After entering your domain and subdomain in the platform:

  • Click the “Connect” button
  • The system will begin generating your DNS record. Please, do not close the page while records are being prepared.
  • The system will give you 1 CNAME record.

Step 3: Add DNS Records to Your Hosting Panel

Now log into the platform where you manage your domain (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare).

Add the 2 records shown on screen:

The CNAME record points your subdomain to the DropSaaS platform

The TXT record is used to verify ownership of your domain

🛑 Important: Do not click “Verify DNS” yet. Wait at least 5 minutes for the DNS to update across the internet.

Step 4: Verify DNS

Once 5+ minutes have passed:

Click “Verify DNS” in DropSaaS

The platform will check if your records are correct

If successful, the Status will change to Active

❌ DNS Error?

If you see an error:

Double-check the records in your DNS manager

Make sure there are no typos or missing characters

Ensure there are no other conflicting records on the same subdomain

You can retry verification anytime after fixing the records.

Step 5: Test Your Live Platform

After the status is Active:

Click the preview icon next to your domain

Your platform will open in a new browser tab

This is now your client login link — you can add it to your website buttons like “Client Login” or “Start Free Trial”
